I know we are already well into 2018…but I wanted to take a look back at the beautiful headwear worn by The Royal Family on Christmas day & decided to share a few of my favourites.
The Queen was the highlight of the day in the most beautiful & vibrant bright orange coat & matching hat.
The Queen was unable to attend the traditional church service the previous year, due to ill health, so I think this colour choice was to remind us that she was most definitely in attendance! I like how the blossoms on the side of the hat, just soften it ever so slightly; this hat is a definite winner for me.
Autumn Phillips wore this beautiful crimson, velvet percher hat. This piece looks lovely on Autumn & think it matches her outfit perfectly, as we just see a splash of red from under her coat.
Princess Anne wore a grey cloche with over lay guinea fowl feathers decorating the top of the brim. We have seen her a few times with this decoration on & I have to say that I like the layering effect as it covers the hat.

And finally, Princess Beatrice wore a velvet percher in a similar shape to what Autumn wore, but in a bold & striking Royal Blue. This colour looks amazing on her.
It’s exciting to think that by the time we get to Christmas 2018, there will have been 2 Royal weddings & 2 new Royal babies this year!
Thanks for reading.
