The Queen’s post isolation outfit!

This week we saw the Queen in her first public appearance since the country went into lockdown in March when she visited Defence Science and Technology Laboratory (Dstl) at Porton Down science park.  There was lots of controversy over the fact that she didn’t wear a face mask, however the real excitement of the day, was that we got to see her in a lovely outfit once again.

The Queen wore a double breasted brushed wool long coat in soft pink, with a striking black trim.  She added black accessories & of course a matching hat in the same fabrics.

The hat has a lovely boxed crown & has a pretty floral trim added to it too.

This hat was made by Rachel Trevor Morgan & I think it’s a lovely shape, suiting her well.  The fabric would have been deemed a little heavy but it’s lightened up with the soft floral trim & works so well together.

It was great to see The Queen back out & about, & I hope to see more of her again soon.
