We always knew that the millinery at Pippa’s wedding was going to be exciting to see….so let’s take a look at just a few of the designs on show.
Obviously big sister Kate was on hand to help out throughout the day; & she opted for her go to design of a saucer hat. This one here is a worn centrally on the head & is made of a peach crin material to match the colour of her dress. I love how confident Kate is to ensure the disc is worn really far forward; this suits her well & yet not a lot of ladies like them so far forwards!
Carole Middleton also went for a style that we see her a lot in, that of a large sweeping brim with an under detail.
I do also really like the detail on the crown of Carole’s hat too….the swirling pattern echo’s the swirling effect of the decorative bow made of silk abaca.
Donna Air wore a straw beret in a delicate lemon colour, matching her colour blocked outfit. I thought this design really suited her petite face.
And of course, we mustn’t forget how utterly beautiful Pippa herself looked in her long cathedral length veil.
Congratulations to both Pippa & James.
