With the 10 year wedding anniversary of the Duke & Duchess of Cambridge this month, I thought I’d have a look at some of the wedding outfit’s of Catherine & William’s guests. The first person I’m sharing with you today is the late Tara Palmer-Tomkinson.
Tara wore a stunning cobalt blue outfit; this is colour blocking to the extreme & I think she looked incredible.
Wearing a fitted blue pencil dress, with draped collar & tails. She teamed the dress with long, leather gloves, clutch bag & peep toe platform slingbacks.
Tara completed the outfit with a centrally placed fascinator, in an inverted teardrop shape & completed with a decorative rose.
I love colour blocking myself; usually I wear 2 clashing colours but Tara showed how wonderful you can look with just 1 colour head to toe. She looks the epitome of elegance & class.
Whilst her dress was a classic, figure hugging shape, her hat was unique. The structured, pointed shape is softened by the rose in the middle of the hat; & the central placement of the design elongated Tara, making her look even taller.
You can really make out the fabulous curved shape of the hat here, I think it’s so eye catching!
All in all, this was a winning outfit for me.
Thanks for reading.
